Meet Your Dentist/Team:

Dr. David Power grew up and went to school in the St George area. Graduating from Sydney University with a Bachelor of Dental Surgery in 1986 he started working in Hurstville that year. After several years of study, he was awarded his Membership of the Royal Australasian College of Dental Surgeons in General Dental Practice (MRACDS – GDP) in 2014. He started Power Dental Practice in 1988 and has really enjoyed caring for a whole generation of the mouths of Hurstville!

Dr. Peter Ikonomou graduated with a Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS) from the University of Sydney in 1987 and has taken additional courses in Orthodontics and Dental mini-Implants, in particular. He completed the orthodontics series at Sydney Uni in 2010.

Growing up in Sydney’s inner west and attending Fort Street High School; Peter enjoyed playing Rugby in his youth along with surfing, in which he still indulges on occasion!

Dr Irena graduated in Indonesia in 2008 and has worked with a wide range of patients before moving to Australia and passing her Australian Dental Council qualification examinations. Back in Indonesia, she also graduated as an orthodontist who completed both fixed braces and various orthodontic plate cases. Since coming to Australia, she has expanded her scope to include clear aligners, such as Invisalign.
